A Person Reaps What They Sow

Galatians 6:7

Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.

I20140530-104833-38913743.jpg was brought up gardening with my father. We would plant all sorts of seeds. Many seeds looked a like to me but my father knew which ones were for what vegetable. We planted onions – string beans – tomatoes (at times from seed at times from plants) – squash – cucumbers – corn – and more. We would even cut up some potato eyes and plant them.

We would mark the rows of seeds we planted so that we knew – early on – what was growing in the row. Never did I plant a seed for a certain vegetable and get another vegetable grow. All seeds produced the desired vegetable.

It is the same with us folks. Today’s passage says – Galatians 6:7 – Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.

We will reap what we so – folks. If we are dishonest – we will reap what we sow. If we have integrity – we will reap what we sow. If we are filled with grace for others – we will reap what we sow. If we show love – we will reap what we sow.

In the Lord’s Prayer we say – forgive me of my sins (trespasses), as I forgive those who sin (trespass) against me. We will reap what we sow dear readers.

Seek His face and desire His grace. Have the attitude of Christ and we will reap the blessings of God.  We cannot mock God and and think that we can sow one thing and harvest another.  Live for Jesus and we will be blessed.

Just something to think about today as you go on your way.
