I Know That My Redeemer Lives
Job 19:25
I know that my redeemer lives, and that in the end he will stand on the earth.
No matter what this world throws at us – no matter how just or unjust the decisions of courts and tribunals – one thing is sure – I know that my redeemer lives.
Our world is filled with injustice. In Baltimore alone – shootings and killings occur at an alarming rate – often taking the lives of innocent bystanders. Injustice reigns in our communities.
Recently in Charleston – SC – nine innocent people attending a Bible study/prayer group were killed by a young man who was filled with Satan and evil. Injustice reigns in our communities.
Some would argue that the Supreme Court has acted beyond the scope of their duties with their recent ruling on same-sex marriage. Some would argue that they were protecting the rights and freedoms of some Americans. Will this secular law or ruling force the religious community to follow suit or be persecuted? Or will the secular rules be tolerant of the religious communities right to disagree with secular law? Injustice reigns in our communities. Continue reading
