Let’s Strive for Ways to Lift Our Spirits

Proverbs 15:13

A happy heart makes the face cheerful, but heartache crushes the spirit.

So – how has your 2020 gone so far? Are you preparing for the fall of 2020? Do you have students that are preparing for home learning? Are you ready for the election in the fall? Do you have a candidate for President? I don’t. I hope your plans for the fall – winter – and into 2021 (which I hope is a better year than 2020) will come true and be fulfilled.

What – if anything – have you decided to change in your life recently? What have we planned to do differently this fall – into the winter – and 2021? My daughter posted this a while back: Don’t downgrade your dreams just to fit your reality. Upgrade your conviction to match your destiny.

2020 Needs A Refocus

Proverbs 15:13

A happy heart makes the face cheerful, but heartache crushes the spirit.

20B2484D-93F3-4834-A657-15E51ED76F9ASo – how has your 2020 gone so far? It is early in July – the second half of the year has begun. What have you lost or missed the most? Did you lose your senior year in school? Did you lose a job or your retirement in the market? Are you worried about our country as we deal with a cancel culture – racism – and the upcoming elections?

What – if anything – have you decided to change in your life recently? Has the pandemic given you a new look at life? What have we planned to do differently this fall and into 2021? Setting goals is important – because we all know – if you aim at nothing – you’re bound to hit it! What goals have you – have we – set? My daughter posted this some time back: Don’t downgrade your dreams just to fit your reality. Upgrade your conviction to match your destiny. Continue reading

Heartache Crushes the Spirit

Proverbs 15:13

Has the lack of rain impacted your yard or garden plans (we haven’t had much rain at all since early July). Have you broken any hearts yet this fall? I hope your plans for the fall and into 2020 (which promises to be a year of much change) are all you’ve hoped.

What – if anything – have you decided to change in your life recently? What have we planned to do differently this fall and into 2020? A Happy Face

Proverbs 15:13

A happy heart makes the face cheerful, but heartache crushes the spirit.

So how has your 2018 started? Did you make any New Year resolutions? It is January 2nd – have you broken any of them yet? I hope you last a little longer with any resolutions you made than the 2nd day of the year. What is your record?

What – if anything – have you decided to change in your life? What have we planned to do differently in the new year? Setting goals is important – because we all know – if you aim at nothing – you’re bound to hit it! What goals have you – have we – set? Continue reading
